Holiday Steroids

Hopefully his will be the last time I need steroids for my MS. I know I’m due to get some at Northwestern when I get my chemo but hopefully this is the last of it.

17 steroid IV’s is enough for me in this lifetime. I’m ready to get on with my life and live it to the best of my abilities.

I’m hoping to hear soon about insurance coverage and hear about when my official start dates for mobilization in Chicago will be. The sooner the better!

Waiting on steroids

I have been having quite bad spasms and pain in my legs, and also in my right arm. The fatigue has also been ridiculous. I spent yesterday completely in bed from 9:30pm the day before until 8 o’clock this morning.

I know that I am due for my steroid treatment and will be getting it on Monday of next week. I tried to get it this week however they wanted me to wait a full six weeks after my last steroid treatment. I’m not sure what five days changes, but I guess that’s the way it has to be.

I am still waiting on insurance approval for the stem cell treatment, which we are hoping will come sometime in the next week. Crossing my fingers that I’ll get it soon!
